Background
After a few years of modifying and repairing my ARF airplanes I decided at the end of the 2014 season that I was ready for a kit - enter the AMR Trainer 26. I purchased this lightly used DLE 30 from a fellow forum member on RC Canada. Part of the package was a Bisson inverted wraparound muffler. My DLE 20 is so equipped and it reduces the volume and harshness of the exhaust noise considerably.
The DLE 30 will be moving into my 2015/16 winter project - an RC Guys Cessna 150 Aerobat. It's much more engine than my AMR 26 needs; for that plane I'll keep an eye out for a used engine between 20 and 30cc.
I installed a Bowman ring on the piston like I did for my DLE 20 and RCGF 32, and I lapped the mating surfaces in the carburetor as I did for both of those engines.
